If mine could speak it would say plz stop spending money on holiday decor, but I digress. Now is the time to dig into your finances! Reach out to each client and schedule a quick “wrap-up” meeting. This is your chance to recap what’s been achieved, highlight any key metrics, and show them the value you’ve brought to the table. Not only does this keep everyone in sync, but it also paves the way for continued (or expanded) work next year. A little effort now in sharing wins can go a long way in securing renewals, referrals, or even a sweet holiday bonus!

I don’t mean to out you but when was the last time you updated your portfolio? Take a little time to polish up your online presence—it’s a low-key way to set yourself up for success next year! Refresh your portfolio with recent projects, update any outdated skills on LinkedIn, and check that your contact info is up-to-date across all platforms. Maybe even add a few testimonials from happy clients. It’s the perfect task to tackle before holiday downtime and can make a real difference in attracting new business in the new year.
