Freelancing Females! I can’t believe we’re already wrapping up 2024. This week we just want to say thanks to YOU for supporting our little corner of the internet. Freelancing isn’t easy, most of the time pursuing entrepreneurship is for the dreamers who want to squeeze more out of their life and although this year has been a struggle in so many ways, we’re proud of all you’ve achieved!

This community is about so much more than freelancing; it’s about women in business showing up for one another. Whether it’s sharing a lead, offering advice, or just being a listening ear, we’re building a network where collaboration beats competition every single time. Together, we’re breaking down barriers, shattering glass ceilings, and proving that when women support women, we all rise.

This year, we celebrated 8 years of Freelancing Females, which still feels surreal to say. Built from a small but mighty Facebook Group, we are now a community of over 300K!

Thank you for your continued support over the years and for supporting our paid campaigns over the last year, they help us to continue the work we do and bring our FF’s amazing discounts on vetted business tools. Next year, we have so many exciting updates to share with you, but for now, let’s reflect on the last few years of Freelancing Females.

2017 Tia didn't get paid by a client and started our Facebook group.
2019 our first website came out.
2019 crowdfunded 30K.
2020 launched the first global rate sheet.
2021 featured in Facebook’s International Women's Day campaign.
2023 Celebrated serving over 300,000 community members globally.
2024 began planning FF 2.0 coming soon 👀

And that’s just the beginning.

For now, take a moment to reflect, recharge, and toast to everything you achieved this year. Because, girl, you’ve earned it.
